Porcelain balls, also known as inert alumina ceramic balls, are a type of chemical filler that is widely used. Porcelain ball fillers are widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, fertilizer, gas, etc. They serve as cover and support materials for catalysts in reactors and tower fillers. Porcelain ball materials are mainly used to increase gas or liquid distribution points, support and protect active catalysts with low strength. Their crushing efficiency and wear resistance are greatly superior to ordinary balls or pebbles, and are widely used in industries such as ceramics, glass, enamel, pigments, and chemical engineering. According to the different AL2O3 content, grinding ceramic balls are divided into silicon carbide grinding ceramic balls, microcrystalline medium aluminum grinding ceramic balls, and high aluminum grinding ceramic balls.

★ Inert ceramic balls are widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, fertilizer, gas, etc., as cover and support materials for catalysts in reactors and tower fillers. Inert ceramic balls have the characteristics of high temperature and pressure resistance, low water absorption, and stable chemical properties. Can withstand corrosion from acids, alkalis, and other solvents, and can withstand temperature changes that occur during the production process. The main function of inert ceramic balls is to increase the distribution point of gas or liquid, support and protect active catalysts with low strength.

★ Convex concave groove perforated ceramic balls are a new product developed on the basis of perforated ceramic balls. The ceramic ball with convex and concave grooves is perforated with the diameter of the sphere as the axis, and grooves are opened on the surface of the sphere to present a convex and concave body. This not only increases the specific surface area and porosity of the sphere, but also increases the stacking weight of the product. This further increases the dispersion and flux of the material, reducing the resistance of the system. Convex concave groove perforated ceramic balls, as a new type of efficient support and covering filler for catalysts, can be widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, and gas.

★ Active ceramic balls are made by adding a small amount of transition metal oxides to inert ceramic balls. Active ceramic balls not only have the characteristics of high temperature resistance, high pressure, and high mechanical strength of inert ceramic balls, but also play a role in filtering, dispersing vapor liquid coverage, supporting catalysts, and having certain catalytic activity, playing a catalytic role in olefin saturation and denitrification.

★ Opened ceramic balls are perforated on inert alumina ceramic balls to improve their specific surface area and porosity, with the characteristics of low pressure drop and high flux.

★ Microporous ceramic balls are made on the basis of inert alumina ceramic balls, increasing the porosity by 20-30%. They have the ability to filter impurities in oil. After testing by the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the impurity removal rate is over 75%. After being used in the 400000 ton coking gasoline and diesel hydrofining unit of Jinzhou Petrochemical, the effect is good.

★ Heat storage ceramic balls have the characteristics of smooth surface, corrosion resistance, high strength, and good heat storage performance, making them the filler for air separation heat storage devices.
