1. The material used for filling should first be determined based on the corrosiveness and operating temperature of the processed material.

3. The passing capacity of the packing: The passing capacity of the packing is the efficiency of the empty tower gas velocity packing at the liquid flooding point. The factors affecting the efficiency are very complex, and it is more reliable to design according to the measured values.

4. Pressure drop of packing: The power consumption of the packing tower mainly depends on the total pressure drop of the entire tower in the gas phase.

5. The properties of structured fillers: There are many types of structured fillers, some of which focus on the arrangement of gas-liquid flow channels to make the gas-liquid distribution as uniform as possible.

6. Some focus on expanding the contact surface.

7. Some consider reducing resistance as much as possible, resulting in various parallel plate membrane packed towers.
